[at-l] Hinton, WV to Pearisburg

I might be taking amtrak to Hinton, WV to start a southbound from Pearisburg around tuesday the 3rd. My plan was to hitch the 50-ish miles from Hinton to Pearisburg, but the train deposits me right at dark in the evening. Anyone know anything about a campable spot near Hinton (so i can start hitching at first light) or shuttle possibilities? Thanks!
