Sounds okay... but I have a but.

The regulations/laws for processing pet foods are very different from those for
humans. Who makes this product?

Subject: [at-l] Hiker food?

I came across this yesterday while doing the weekly grocery thing at WalMart.
Go to the Pet Food aisle, yes you heard right, PET food....

Now look for plastic boxes of treats called Bountiful something or other. They
come in Dried Apples, Dried Banannas, Dried Carrots, Dried Sweet Potatoes, etc.
Now before you go yuck, read the ingredients label. The one on the carrots for
instance says "Dried Carrots." Thats it, just carrots, nothing else. Wanna bet
that you can eat it? nly $3.98 a box!
