Boy, did it ever get colder. But I did fall in the creek this morning and got to watch both of my water bottles float away.

You would not believe how fast cold water turns to ice on soaked shoes. Especially at ~20F. (Got below 10 last night.) Glad they weren't boots. Then i'd have boots full of ice/water that wouldn't drain out. That waterproof stuff works BOTH WAYS!
