FINALLY!!!  :))   Michael is home safe and sound from Iraq.  Yesterday was one of the happiest days of my life!   When the soldiers rolled into the armory in Maryville, it was with full regalia.  The Patriot Riders and many members of the state and local police departments escorted our soldiers.  I thought I was going to just bust when I saw him!!!

He had to turn in some paperwork and give an accounting before leaving the armory.  But, then we decided to hang out for a few minutes because so many folks had gone through so much trouble to decorate the armory and have food waiting.  The FRG (headed by Jerry & Joan Bennett) did a wonderful job!  

Of course the media was everywhere.  We even made the front page of the newspaper!

After we had returned home, Michael asked the girls for my hand in marriage.  Jerrica made him promise to treat me good and made him shake hands on it!  LOL  So, it's official... we're to be married.  And, our "vacation" to Acadia National Park has now become our "honeymoon".

We're still discussing locations, but we're thinking of June 26th for the date.  This is all happening so fast but it's been a year in the making!  We'll post an update once we decide upon a location.
