I used a "cheap", light, Lafuma down bag for summer (40 degrees, @ 1 pound), and a silk liner. It was mostly OK. At @ 38 WINDY degrees on Killington ( in the leaky old shelter), I was also wearing all my clothes...... I used it until Glenn Cliff, NH.
