I live in Florida (Orlando area), but don't know anyone with a rental in Key West.  Is anyone who's going to Key West retired or in-service military?  There's a military base there and retired and in-service military can stay on base (on a space available basis) for a VERY reasonable amount.  The military campground is likewise quite cheap for Key West.
