Sorry to hear this. I assumed all was well, shouldn't have. Ligament/tendon tears take 6 months to heal completely. I always preferred to break or crack a bone since it was only 6-8 weeks before all was settled. Dealing with the work that you do is a problem either way I imagine. Is the job making things worse?
Back in 1996 I had both ankles "tightened" up with tendon surgery. It was 1 week in a wheelchair, 10 weeks in casts. Then rehab and I was walking on the AT after 5 months.
Looking back I cannot complain. The new ankles have lasted for thousands of miles and I have barely any symptoms.
