[at-l] Contacts?

I wear the gas perm type & hiked a week long section hike last year & plan to hike a month long this year.  I take my glasses for night time use.  I have a white bandana that I lay down before taking them out or putting them in so that if I drop one I can spot it.  Using all purpose cleaning/ conditioner, I had no problem at all.

  Anyone do long distance hiking with contacts? I didn't need glasses ten years ago when I did my last long hike (wow! 10 years!!!). I only need them for reading but I wear multi focus contacts so I don't have to deal with the glasses on, glasses off, glasses on, glasses off...thoughts on hiking for 4 months with contacts??
