I'm following somebody on trailjournals and the SPOT website.. he followed me on trailjournals last year.  Which is pretty cool.

Miss Janet should be on the trail around now.

I was on the AT in MD this weekend.  Probably gonna go out to SNP next month for an overnight.

Hopeful should be on the trail now. I think he started last Tuesday -- or tomorrow. I need to check trail journals again.

Miss J was heading out today.  From her posts on Facebook and emails I think 
she's a tad nervous.  But, she's going to have so much fun!

I'm 10 ways to jealous of her.  But, Michael and I were talking and he'll be 
retiring from the Army in about 8-9 years.  He was asking me if it is possible 
to homeschool kids while one hikes.  I liked to have fell over when he asked me 
that!  He has made me such a happy woman.  :)

Hiking in it's self is an education.  Figuring mileage, meal portions and 
preplanning, weather/science, geology.
