It's very doable. In fact, depending on your hiking speed, allowing 3 1/2 days may be too much. In July I hiked from Mt. Collins to Davenport Gap in 2 days and I'm no speedster.

I am thinking of  getting a start around noon on a Sunday and covering 
the 32 miles by  sundown on Wednesday.
 
Is that doable?     Anyone familiar with this area this 
time of year?
