The Gossamer Gear Thinlight pad is a great piece of gear. Barely weighs a
thing, but adds a barrier against thermal conductivity. Also, they don't
absorb water.

My skinny son has used just one of those as a sleeping pad, but I'd never
get through the night if I tried to do that.
