[at-l] AT magic

OK, so some of you have found out it's my birthday so here's the plan. I'm
heading for Crawford Notch this morning and I'll be there until Saturday AM
(maybe longer if possible). I'll be trapping hikers on the trail esp.
tonight to have a fire & tell stories. Those of you in the area should come
by if you want a dose of the trail. I'll be in the upper parking lot at Rt.
302 crossing of the AT, under the big Walrus tarp.

 

I had a nice visit to Harpers Ferry last week so I wasn't at the AT crossing
on duty. But I found out that the hikers I've been feeding were in the
400-420 numbers for those NoBos reaching Harpers Ferry. The most recent NoBo
through there is 1003. So . there are perhaps a few more hundred that'll
reach me in August, or maybe even in September. HF said these are record
numbers.

 

July I was at the trail for 18 days. I don't know if I can manage that this
year, but sure hope I can. Gotta go!
