You'll be OK for another week or two, I think. Perhaps change up in Gorham.
The earliest I've been hiking in icy conditions around Gorham & the
Mahoosucs was September 23/24, 1997. Anyone else remember ice on the trail
in the Maine/NH border area any earlier? --RD
