[at-l] Rendezvous Locations

I live in California and my 2016 thru-hike of the AT will be my first visit
to the eastern United States. My wife wants to meet me 3-4 times along the
trail for a short visit that includes some sightseeing, food eating, movie
going, hot tub sitting... Can someone recommend some locations where she
will have airport access reasonably close to the trail that would include
some of the above options?
