OK, then let me revamp the numbers for alcohol.  I was
using Alistair's fuel quantity that she took for the
longest (12 day) stretches.  Let's say you would need
20 oz plus half that for 12 days, meaning 30 oz.

1, 2-L titanium pot:  8 oz
28 oz. denatured alcohol:  22 oz fuel + 4 oz of
bottles = 26 oz
Stove:  1 oz (assumed)

Total:  31 oz (1.9 lbs)


This seems more reasonable.....but still a half pound
heavier than Esbit (although a lot cheaper!).
