[cdt-l] fire maps

There's a .kmz file that maps active fires on google-earth at:
http://activefiremaps.fs.fed.us/#
Look for the link "Download KMZ file" link just below the map legend.

You can overlay my cdt.kmz file on top of that, available here:
http://www.phlumf.com/travels/cdt/cdtkml.shtml

And get an idea of where exactly these fires are in relation to the CDT.

This won't tell you exactly which parts of the CDT are closed and where 
re-routes are, but it's interesting to look at anyway...
