I spent the summer of my 50th year wandering around in the San Juans for 4 weeks. Covered the CDT from Wolf Creek to San Louis Peak plus a side trip to Kit Carson pk area. One of the best 4 weeks of my life. both feet were working well, no problems, I could walk all day and never feel tired.
I need to become particularly heath-wise now. I need to see myself as in training.

There's still hope for me, I'm planning it as a 50th b-day present to me. (2010)
After seeing all the twenty-somethings, I was worried.

I turned 50 two days after completing the CDT in 2002 and hope to still be on the trail this year for my 55th. Yikes, where has the time gone...
