Re: Section Hikers.  "Dad" & "Mom"/Rob & Donna Mabry 'PCT'05 will be joining our group for an indefinite period at the start, going SOBO from Canada.  You can add them to your list.  Actually, we're all "section hikers" until we take the final step to complete the hike!

I also wanted to point out, if anyone plans on taking a Pocketmail device or other form of portable email (smartphone, blackberry, PDA), they can subscribe to the cdt-l with their PM (or other)  addy and post to the list.  If you don't want the single posts or daily digest (not reccomended) just disable list mail on the user option page, you'll still be able to post. 
 
In 2002 several hikers kept in touch with each on the trail and posted the latest up-to-date water reports to the list.
