Re: Yogis recommendations for Rawlins- the Jade Lodge apparently has new 
ownership since her book and is really, really bad now and a rip-off.  I 
experienced bugs in the bed and roaches in the room and they just shrugged 
their shoulders! Another NOBO paid before checking the room; when he decided 
not to take it, they refused to refund.  Bad experience all around!  BTW, 
there are basic cabins at the Western Hills campground if you want out of 
the rain and  Carbon Cab service is cheap if you don't want to hoof it out 
there.
