[cdt-l] suggestions for an introductory hike

Thanks, Jonathan.  That area didn't even come up on Trails.com but the
website has some good maps and I see some nice loops including the CDT.  It
also looks convenient for the drive, too. 

...mountains don't tolerate fools...

Something in the Mt. Zirkel wilderness might work well - there are a 
variety of possibilities... There's a lot of mixed alpine + forest, you 
can include the CDT, and it's relatively closer to Iowa than some other 
locations. Plus, there are some moderately high peaks you can climb-up 
as a nice "goal" to have.

I'm sure some CO residents will have many other suggestions... Rocky Mtn 
NP is another area with a lot of good possibilities...
