[cdt-l] Still looking for the right tent!

I am still searching for the perfect shelter for the CDT this
summer. The ideal shelter would be what every hiker wants,
lightweight, waterproof, breathable, bugproof (or at least resistant),
and able to hold a 6'5" man with a large backpack.
I hardly used a tent at all on the 2 months I was on the PCT last
year. Mostly slept beneath the stars. But the CDT sounds like it could
be different.
I spent a Summer in Colorado when I was 17, working for a youth
corp, building trails, and it rained like hell many nights. I loved it
in my 5 pound kelty tent. But we only backpacked a few times that
summer, so a 5 pound tent was fine.
But now I need something lighter. I want to be able to justify a
little more food weight when I want it. The tarptents look alright,
everyone on the PCT loved them that had them, although I never made it
to Washington where the rain was an issue.
I've been looking all day today for the perfect shelter. Ran
across a few that really crossed my mind... The first was the OR
nighthaven. Although a bit heavy, (2 pounds 2 ounces) it would make an
awesome shelter, with lots of room to sprawl out gear. Anyone have one
or know someone who does?
Any more ideas for a great CDT shelter? Thanks so much in advance.
And although I know that gear is not discussed much on this forumn, I
feel it is a valid question for the group! Thanks again! --Shaggy,
