[Cdt-l] stoves

i'm really tossed up as to which kind of stove to buy.
it seems that the real advantage of the alcohol stove is the cheaper fuel and maybe 3 oz. is this the wrong way to see it.
i'm gonna need some simmer potential.
i guess my experience tells me to go canister to replace my coleman 442.  guess if i'm counting oz then alcolhol may be best any ideas on a good simmerer??
