I used one on the PCT this year and you really can control the flame.  I also like the fuel suction device that allows one to suck unused fuel back into the fuel bottle.  Eliminated the need to guess how much fuel to use, although after a few weeks I pretty much could.  I'll use it again on the CDT in '10.
