[Cdt-l] Northern MT Experiences

Greetings!

In CDTS Volume 1 (Northern Montana), Scapegoat Wilderness Segment, Section 2
Green Fork to Whitetail Creek (Southbound), Wolf describes a 'more scenic'
cross country route to the confluence of Whitetail Creek with the Dearborn
River via Halfmoon Park, Scapegoat Mountain, and Tobacco Valley.

 Has anyone taken this cross country option?  How was it?  Views? Burned
areas?  If you took the designated route, how was it?
