Thanks, Ron. That was helpful. Looks like the 8/1 date listed for Red Eagle 
on the NPS .pdf file could be a mistake. This gives me a basis to write to 
them about that before I submit a reservation application.
    It appears you had a long hike between Atlantic Creek and Two Medicine 
(15.0 mi via the Designated route). I'm not sure I could handle that well, 
but that might be the price to pay for going early in the season. You 
mentioned camp sites on the way that were snowbound. What about the trail, 
how many miles of those 15 were you hiking on snow? I know how that can slow 
a person down.
