I would have to agree with brett. I started to get overwhelmed with pretrip planning last spring so I just stopped. Once it got to be stressful I decided to go with what I had sorted out and leave the rest to fate. worked fine. Another technique I saw a pair doing on the trail was entering the next section when in a town. I liked this approach since your interpretations out there are different than at the house anyway. _redbeard
