[Cdt-l] good year for a north bound?

hello,
i'm a regular reader of the list but since i didn't really plan on hiking
this year i haven't done a ton of research.
compare to other years how does this year's snow levels compare for a north
bound hike and not having to skip the san juans?
it would appear it might be a good year and i should get my butt in gear,
literally.
