As Chris said, memory cards are cheap.  You can also download photos to CDs fairly frequently along the trail.  Walmart has photo shops that will do CDs and many tourist towns have photo shops that will make photo CDs for you.

Greetings!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to take photos: digital or film (traditional 35 mm)?  

For those that have used a digital camera, what did you do with your memory stick once it was filled with photos?  Did you upload the photos to a website?  (if so, how did you do this?  Where did you do this?  Internet cafe?  Library?) Did you mail yourself a laptop computer and upload the photos to it?  What other options exist?
