Hi Keith,

Would you be willing to send out the following message to the CDT-L on my behalf? I have tried numerous times to send it with no luck. Nothing. I have contacted the list admin. No response.

We have promised to get this tracker map going in conjunction with CDTA (Teresa Martinez) but I cannot seem to get thru.

The tracker will be very beneficial to you to know where hikers are. For example Jerry Brown is out there right now mapping west of Separ. You can see him on the map.

Here's the message I'd like to send. The service is free.
Best,
Matthew

There's now a CDT 'social tracker' for SPOT users available for viewing/use at http://trackleaders.com/cdt

The tracker will also be embedded on the CDTA website.

This tracker is free to use and embed on blogs or journals. Just send along your SPOT 'shared page' link and approximate start date to info at trackleaders.com and you're up. Unlike SPOT shared pages, this tracker archives data permanently and offers other functionality such as average speed, overnight location (useful for journals) and CDT route (kml) overlay.

It does not, however, publicize help or SOS signals sent from users' SPOTs.

Send trackleaders.com an email for further info.

Cheers,
Matthew Lee
