I can't speak to this gather specifically, but in general horses gathered in
these roundups are taken to long term holding pens and grazing land until
they die. As most people on this forum are probably aware it is a point of
contention throughout the west. One of those holding pens is outside Reno,
where I live, called Palimino Valley:

The horses can be adopted by the public for a fee, but there are more horses
in captivity then can probably be adopted, however Madeleine Pickens just
