[Cdt-l] deming weather

I remember driving through Deming on New Year's Day, 1978 - it was snowing,
the temperature was also in the teens, and Highway 10 was a solid sheet of
ice. Cars and trucks were spun out everywhere. It stayed that way almost
until San Antonio. To make matters worse, I had to listen to my alma mater,
Texas, get beat by Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl.

those of you that have passed through here over our last 2 years of angeling
will not believe that it's 17 degrees at 8 AM and that we have 2 inches of
snow on the ground - it was 65 on christmas day - short sleeve weather and
now this - great day to stay in and watch college bowl games
