[Cdt-l] snow gear

I'm planning on a hike for 2011 and trying to figure out what is appropriate
equipment for the snow. Snowshoes, 10/12 point crampons, in-step crampons,
micro-spikes, ice ax, treking pole w/ ax attachment?  And CDT v. PCT? Most
listserv posts I found focus on PCT, but imagine conditions could be
different for the CDT.

Right now I'm thinking Micro-spikes with a light ice ax. I look forward to
reading people's trail journals and what works for them in this higher then
average snow pack.
