I felt that the Wolf guides were incredibly valuable for navigating most of the CDT. There is some amazing detailed information in there that got me out of a few binds. Furthermore, it was the Wolf guidebook in northern Colorado that suggested an awesome (and I mean awesome)cross country route through the Zirkel Wilderness, which kept me and my hiking companions close to the Divide. I definitely recommend carrying them.
