I took the Anaconda cut-off because I was pressed for time and trying to
reach Canada before winter got to me.  If I were section hiking, or if I had
more time, I would have taken the Official, Butte route. Anaconda route was
hot, blacktop, flat and boring.

FWIW: I would say the same thing about the Mac's Inn Cut-off as well.
