[Cdt-l] Women on the trail...me too!

Hi MoonPie.  Milky and I both did the PCT in 2008, and we plan to SOBO the
CDT this year (well, depending on La Nina snowpack . else maybe we'll go
north like you .). 

 

I recall meeting you in the Sierras; you had just come down Whitney the day
before I went up, and I think it was you that had seen a bear up there.  And
then you had another (more up close and personal) bear encounter around
Island Pass (?) that I recall hearing about while standing in line to get
some food at Tuolumne Meadows, if memory serves.   

 

I guess the hiking community really is a small world; on the AT this year
Kentucky Greybeard was a ridgerunner in the Smokies, and Cuppa Joe was
running a camping area in the Whites, they both did the PCT our year too.
