[Cdt-l] when axe no longer needed headed north

Lots of snow in northern Colorado this year.  If you start at I70 you will
probably need an iceax at least and maybe crampons. You might consider
starting at hwy 114 heading north. That's about the lowest elevations there
are in CO along the trail. The Great Basin in WY might be ok as well.

Headed north on cdt at what point given this years conditions... how far
north are axes carried?

I am thinking of starting nobo somewhere in Colorado. I would like to start
just past the point where axe is needed and snow is prevalent.

will start June 3-7th sometime

If i started I -70 axe needed?
