Circle A Ranch Hostel is only about 3/4 mile off the trail.  It's a great place to stay.  Very hiker-friendly.  Peaceful.  Safe.


The statement "3-5 miles" refers to the distance from Cuba.

We don't have the ability to pick people up and return them to the CDT. A couple of years ago we had a manager who was able to do that, but we don't do it anymore. Sorry.

We are right off the CDT north of Cuba. Take the Los Pinos trailhead road until it T's into a dirt road. Turn right and you will see the Hostel sign. It's about another mile to the ranch. Total distance between 3 & 5 miles.
