[Cdt-l] Where is the expressed passion?

If you read Ron Strickland's book (Pathfinder), you sense his unique  
energy and passion for developing the Pacific Northwest National  
Scenic Trail.  Jim Wolf also has similar enthusiasm by publishing  
hiking guides for the CDT.  Yogi's town guides reflect her commitment  
to helping individuals complete the CDT and PCT.  Maybe there is a  
modern day Benton MacKaye who is waiting in the wings to advocate for  
the CDT?

It is sad that the Continental Divide Trail Alliance folded, but let's  
be optimistic that some person (persons) will take-over the reins.   
People make a difference!
