The highway is closed due to a sinkhole.  Too late in your case, but NOBO
hikers can save a bit of highway walking if they turn off on Wurtz Ditch
road at Mapbook mile 402.1 and hike down to the highway. Heading north, this
is about 2.8 miles before Tennessee Pass.
