[Cdt-l] Starting my CDT adventure with my dog, on Saturday (err, later today!)

Hello,

Thanks for all the information I've gleaned reading here.  I'm
starting a little later than I wanted to be, but my dog and I will be
on the trail in about twelve hours :)  We're heading southbound
starting at the trailhead near Marias Pass (between the N.P. not
allowing dogs, an emergency surgery for the dog last week, and not
wanting to roadwalk Hwy 2 right at the start of the trip... ahh
well...)

If you want to follow me, I'll be (a) sending up blog posts whenever I
have signal, (b) tweeting daily updates by satellite, and (c) having
my satellite messenger give out my position every 30 minutes (there's
a link and you can see my position every 30 minutes while walking,
turned off when I sleep).

Should be fun!
