I have heard bad things about CAR in the past - no heat in the room - no hot
water in the showers plus doesn't it cost a lot?

It makes way more sense for NOBO hikers to stay, shop, and eat in Cuba, NM
rather than Circle A Ranch. The Ranch may be the best place in the world (I
don't know), but it's still 6-7 miles from Cuba's center. Send your
packages to Cuba and not CAR.

Obviously, SOBO hikers would prefer CAR over Cuba.
