[Cdt-l] Best places to stay in Ashland

Hi:

I live in Ashland and provide rides for hikers to the trailhead I can
also give you a lift from the Medford airport. I will email you my
phone number. I will be in between hikes at the beginning of July 

Many hikers stay at the Ashland Youth Hostel--150 N. Main
St--541-482-9217. Another hostel that provides kitchens is Ashland
Commons at 437 WIlliams Way--541-482-6753--www.ashlandcommons.com.
These two hostels are fairly centrally located--maybe a 10-15 minute
walk to restaurants and the food co op and the post office. Other than
that there are a plethora of motels in town--I used to stay at the
Iris Inn Bed and Breakfast for 17 years when I visited Ashland. All
the motels, b and b's and hotels that are centrally located are pretty
pricey. There are a lot of them--check Trip advisor for prices. The
farther away from downtown, the cheaper the motels.
