[Cdt-l] Gila River Diversion

For those curious about this, I did find a map of at least one proposal for
this here:
http://www.gilaconservation.org/wp/?p=1369
Basically, this would take some portion of the flow a few miles after it
exits the Gila Wilderness and divert it to holding ponds/dams. There's more
to it than that, but that seems to be the essence of it.

Subject: [Cdt-l] Gila River Diversion

For those interested in the Gila, as you may know, there is a proposal,
currently on Governor Martinez' desk to approve diversion of the Gila.
Those hiking the Gila now may be the last to hike it as a free flowing
river.
