[Cdt-l] Middle Fork Gila

GET thru-hiker Paul Healy this fall hiked the lower mile or so of the Middle Fork above the visitor center and mentioned encountering a few blowdown tangles and debris but nothing outrageous. The West Fork, which he then hiked upstream for 16 miles, was basically fine, no issues. Likely the Middle Fork took the full brunt of last summer's floods, but the major damage is confined to the narrower sections, possibly (but not necessarily) improving as one heads up the drainage toward Snow Lake. <br/><br/>- Brett<br/><br/><br/>Sent from Yahoo!
