[Cdt-l] Cdt-l Digest, Vol 78, Issue 7

Bill Irwin died from cancer on March 1st at his home in Sebec, Maine.   
As a blind hiker, he showed uncommon perseverance to complete the AT  
in 1990 with his dog Orient.  Here is the story printed in the Bangor  
Daily News.  What can we learn from his life experiences?
