Colorado snowpack is pretty much below normal at this time. A look at snotel data indicates that April and even May are the median peak months. Last year the snow was below average into May, but the late May storm that hit the Rockies dumped a tremendous amount of snow, something like 60 inches at Wolf Creek Summit.
