Does anyone know the real scene at Pie Town?

Do people generally stay at the Toaster House even if there's no plumbing?  Are there other options?  Where would one obtain water or relieve themselves without turning the area into a human waste hazard and annoying the neighbors?

And do the UPS packages just get left out in front if no one is home at the Toaster House? ( it sounds like Nita is not often there)

How is the cafe?  Does it make you want to linger in Pie Town?
