Home depot sells a universal pex crimping tool.
Has dies for 3/4" and 1/2" pex rings.
You will also need the muy grande channel lock pliers along with this tool.
The crimper cost me 70 bucks.
The grande channel locks were about 40 bucks.

I have been plumbing log cabins up here in the Big Horns with these tools
and they work as well as the big commercial set we had back on the plumbing
rig in Cali.

You could get a lot done for 500 in supplies.
Spent 1,400 per cabin up here and that included a shower stall and a 30
gallon electric water heater, lights, fan, pedestal sink, along with pex
and fittings.
