[Cdt-l] cdt-l activity

I'm not trying to sell anyone on Facebook. and I'm quite the novice myself,
but it is kind of nice how easy it is to view others' photos and videos on
Facebook. You don't have to do any posts yourself. just sort of listen and
enjoy.

Anyway, I'll keep listening here but have just joined the CDT 2015 facebook
group as well.

I sure agree with these sentiments! I have section hiked what I believe to
be the best of the CDT and I am probably done with it but I really enjoy
seeing and following this list. I will miss it if it fades away. I have no
desire or interest in ever using FB.

Don't have Facebook; plan to never have Facebook; don't care to give up
my privacy to Big Brother, or at least make them work a bit harder for it;
so, guess I'll slowly no longer be able to keep up with trail lists. Still
don't have a smartphone; have no interest in in-my-hand "media".

Jerry, hope you keep posting to cdt-l thru the next summer or 2 until I
finish.

Hopelessly & uncaringly falling behind,

The CDT 2015 Facebook pages has 463 members. That is where the conversation
is. The older, more traditional trail forums seem to be fading away...."

The cdt-l is remarkably quiet these days!

Activity for January 2015, compared with January 2014:

http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/cdt-l/2015-January/date.html

http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/cdt-l/2014-January/date.html

Which I suppose begs two questions, in particular... "Huh?" and "Wha?"

Feel free to discuss.
