Thanks ,
Oklahoma just got its first Cabela's. I actually bought sneakers there recently but they didn't have anything appropriate for hiking in my size. I know everyone's feet are unique and I will have to try them on. I was just trying to get a feel for things you can't test in the store; how do they handle slippery or rough terrain and are they actually as waterproof as they claim. My gear has improved a bunch in the last few months. When I can't hike I shop. The shoes are my last purchase but an important one. I don't remember who it was but someone recommended buying a few different ones. That is advice I will certainly take.
